Glued CLT

    Corroy-le-Grand site

Walls made of glued CLT provide an easy solution for managing the ground floor cantilever. The monolithic walls bear the loads of the walls, facilitating the installation and giving the whole a solid character. In order to reduce costs, internal non-load-bearing walls are timber-framed. Other frameworks are specified to produce open frames, sunshade structures, etc.

    Mariembourg site

Often selected in large buildings, for public and/or local authorities, Glued CLT gives resistant multi-floor wall assemblies. Some walls can stay in exposed wood: these then present a flat, smooth surface. The mix here is achieved using glulam beams and timber blocks (flat glulam).

The use of wood and CLT in this site also means that there is an exceptional site speed, which gives a significant advantage for certain local authority projects (schools, homes, etc.) or property investments.
